01 The problem
General chat systems often lose long-horizon context, blur facts with generated text, and make it difficult to reconstruct why an action occurred. ApolloGPT treats memory, provenance, authority, and evaluation as first-class architecture.
02 Design principles
Separate durable records from transient context; preserve sources and revisions; gate tools by explicit authority; and evaluate full workflows rather than isolated answers.
03 Current stage
The architecture, memory layers, operating protocols, and evaluation tasks are under active development. No claim of general intelligence is made.
